Some Relationships Have An Expiry Date

However, if you find enough value in it, stick through the challenges to extend its shelf life.

The truth is not all relationships are meant to last forever

There will be the honeymoon phase no matter what kind of relationship is. During this period, you don’t know each other too well there is plenty of curiosity and excitement of this fresh, new relationship.

As time passes you either accept the the unique habits about the person or slowly discover they are perhaps not the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

Everything and everyone is a bet — marriage included. You could drift apart even after saying “I do” — the difference is how much effort they both of you put in to keep the spark alive.

When do you know when the spark is sparked out.

1. You don't feel like yourself. There is a detachment in the way you feel and you aren’t sure if the emotional connection is plugged in. You hold back being vulnerable because you feel less open.

2. You’re constantly questioning how you should communicate. You don't see eye-to-eye anymore.

3. You're getting annoyed by them . You start snapping more than usual . All the little things that used to make you smile are making you growl .

4. You feel like you're losing yourself. If you are starting to feel like you may be lost in yourself and the activities you used to do. You spend less time with friends because you were only doing things that interested them.

5. The Trust Is Gone. Trust is the foundation of a committed relationship, and a lack of it digs a hole into a relationship that runs deep inside . In order to regain it, both partners need to focus not only on trust itself but on the root of what caused the change in the first place.

The most important spark is the spark that ignites YOU first!
