Piece of Mind

Have you ever felt broken and scattered, as if you were one of the millions of pieces of a dismantled puzzle?

After a divorce or life transition, it can feel like you are watching the pieces of your life fall to the ground, not knowing where to start or how to rebuild.

Making sense of what your life could look like after divorce might not be a completed puzzle. Instead of being concerned with how exactly you are going to put the pieces back together, it is important to find yourself again inside of the frame.

This may feel like the darkest corner of your life, but it can also prove to be the breakthrough you need to find the light that will illuminate your journey of self-discovery. Hold on—it's going to be a bumpy ride.

See, life isn't about the firecracker moments and the fairytale dust, it's about the way you show up to the reality of every messy and uncomfortable day.

You don't recognize your strengths until you are faced with challenges, and only then can you build your character and resilience as you punch through the barriers that hold you back.

What holds you back is YOU and what propels you forward is YOU.

The difference between staying stuck and getting unstuck is the belief and wherewithal that you can get through hard things and be better.

This philosophy can lead you to an open mindset, which invites opportunities and possibilities after any life transition. I can speak on this because I know firsthand how I felt when I had to put the pieces of my life back together to design my life post-divorce.

I believe everyone has the power to endure greatness from a place of discomfort and create a vision through personal strengths and perseverance. You have the power, we all do.

Believe in yourself and trust the process, and the universe will give you that piece you've been looking for.
